What your purchase includes
Your plan adds filing capacity to your account after payment is verified. The dashboard then shows how many filings you purchased, how many you have used, and how many remain.
- Starter adds 1 filing credit.
- Business adds 2 filing credits.
- Enterprise adds 5 filing credits.
- Unlimited Forever removes the filing limit and shows Unlimited in the dashboard.
If you want to review your balance after purchase, open the Dashboard.
If you are unsure which plan to choose, Business is the safest default for users who expect to prepare more than one filing. It includes 2 filings and is marked as the best-value option in the app.
How payment works
You select a plan after completing the filing quiz. Nomadfiling then sends you to Stripe Checkout to complete the purchase securely.
After Stripe returns you to the app, the payment is verified and saved to your account. The verification flow records the purchase in the payments table with the number of filings purchased, then updates what you see in your dashboard and payment history.
Payment records can appear with these statuses:
- paid — the purchase completed successfully and credits are available
- pending — the checkout session exists but verification has not finished yet
- failed — the payment did not complete successfully
Where to see receipts and payment history
Every completed purchase appears on the Payments page. That page shows your payment history and receipt links, so you can review past purchases without going back through checkout.
Separate checkout for Form 7004 extensions
Form 7004 tax extensions use a separate checkout flow from filing plans. If you purchase an extension, Nomadfiling creates that payment through a dedicated extension checkout instead of using your filing-credit balance.

No. Nomadfiling uses one-time payments only. You buy filing credits once, and the credits stay in your account until you use them. Unlimited Forever is also a one-time purchase, not a recurring plan.
