Create your first filing package
Nomadfiling walks you from account creation to a downloadable IRS filing package for your foreign-owned US LLC. You will sign up, complete the guided filing quiz, choose a pricing plan, pay through Stripe, and download your generated PDFs.
Before you start, gather your LLC EIN, incorporation date, business activity, total assets, foreign owner details, and any related party transaction amounts for the tax year.
What you need before starting
A smoother first filing starts with the right information at hand. Most of the quiz is straightforward, but having these details ready will help you finish in one session.
- LLC details — legal name, EIN, incorporation date, tax year start and end, business address, and principal business activity
- Financial basics — total assets and any reportable transaction amounts
- Owner details — foreign owner name, address, citizenship or tax residency details, and tax identification information if available
- Related party details — names, addresses, relationship to the LLC or owner, and transaction totals if your LLC had reportable related party activity
- Signature — a signature you can draw in the browser or upload during the filing flow
If you are unsure whether a transaction belongs in the filing, continue with the amounts you do know and review the package before downloading it.
Complete the filing flow
Create your account
Open app.nomadfiling.com/register and create your account with your email address and password.
After registration, sign in to continue. If your account is active, you can move directly into the filing quiz without installing anything or leaving your browser.
Start the 8-step filing quiz
Go to the filing flow and complete the guided questionnaire. The quiz collects the information needed to generate your forms and supporting documents.
The filing flow covers these sections:
- Entity information — LLC name, EIN, tax year, address, and business activity
- Owner information — foreign owner identity and tax residency details
- Related party information — any related parties connected to the filing
- Transactions — reportable amounts tied to the related party sections
- Signature — draw or upload the signature used for the filing package
- Supporting statements — add any supporting details needed for the generated forms
- Review — confirm the information before generating PDFs
- PDF preview — inspect the generated filing package before download
When this step is complete, you should reach the pricing screen.
Choose a pricing plan and pay
Select the plan that matches how many filings you need, then complete payment through Stripe checkout.
Current pricing options:
- 1 filing — $147
- 2 filings — $197
- 5 filings — $297
- Unlimited filings — $497
After successful payment, Nomadfiling finalizes your filing package automatically.
Open your saved filing
After payment, Nomadfiling saves the filing and sends you to the filing detail page at /filing/:id when you are logged in.
If you started the flow without being logged in, Nomadfiling prompts you to register before continuing. A successful save means you can reopen the filing later from your account instead of re-entering everything.
Preview and download your PDFs
Review the generated filing package and download the PDFs you need for your records or submission workflow.
Your package can include:
- Form 5472
- Form 1120
- Fax cover sheet when enabled
- Supporting statements when applicable
At this point, your first filing package is ready to review and use.
What success looks like
You know the quickstart worked when all of these are true:
- Your payment is complete
- You are redirected to a filing page after checkout
- The filing appears in your account history
- You can preview or download the generated PDF package
If you reached the PDF preview and can download your forms, your first filing is complete.
Manage filings after download
Once your first filing is saved, you can return to it later from the dashboard. The dashboard shows your filing history and supports viewing, editing, deleting, and filtering filings by year.
If you expect to prepare more than one filing, this is the fastest way to revisit previous work without starting over.
Common questions
If you are not logged in after payment, Nomadfiling prompts you to register. After registration, you can continue to access your filing.
